The colour palette was chosen to reflect these values. A small company founded by a truly amazing yogi, Sue Pendlebury, with a passion to make yoga and retreats accessible to all. At a time when there really weren’t many retreat companies out there. As the business has developed over the years they felf somehow the word ‘shoestring’ hasn’t felt quite right for a while. Although their key ethos remains, it has been necessary to adapt and give their brand a new identity. Nothing too far from their roots and something that makes sure you their loyal following still recognise it is them. We kept is simple with a really clean and modern type face for the logo which still held similar characteristics to their previous brand. Having started life as a pop-up the 5 sibling founders wanted a brand that conveyed their passion for authentic, home cooked Vietnamese cuisine. The founding sibling’s grandmother worked as a chef in Saigon during the 1940’s and is at the heart of the restaurant’s menu, with her recipes being lovingly recreated and reimagined within this small family-run set-up. The paired-back and simplistic branding is sophisticated whilst still maintaining references to the heritage of the Southern Vietnamese flat where their family grew up and lived together. The colours and minimalistic presentation help translate the authentic nature of the cuisine that the restaurant produces into a visual and stylistic narrative with the restaurant. The German founders focus was to bring authentic German baking to the London market. Having worked closely in partnership with Brot Kultur’s owners from conception, it was important to establish a brand identity that reflected both the integrity and quality of the bakery's produce, as well presenting their brand with a sympathetic modern aesthetic, broadening the appeal of traditional German baking to a diverse metropolitan clientele. &nbsp; The name reflects the integral offering of the brand and we chose a font which felt authentic to German culture in its structure. The graphic mark and colour palette reflect the traditional nature of the products. The branding is mirrored and continued throughout the store interior and décor, with the colours and natural materials deliberately chosen to work in harmony with the overall styling. A visual language was created for consistency through the brand with illustrations and motifs of the key produce to reinforce and cement the stores identity to its customers. <img width="1400" After a hugely successful Crowdfunding project the 2019 Circle Planner was launched and sold out in 5 weeks, with 123 planners ordered on-line. We worked closely with Circle Planner's founders to create a book which was beautiful in its design. We chose a brand created with a simple font and clean, circular lines to reflect the name. The design of the book itself carries through this style allowing the user to be as creative as they wish, to take great pleasure in tailoring it to suit their own individual needs. Small design details make the Circle Planner stand out from others. Their aim is to shape the future of education to benefit all of its members. NEU wanted to launch a workload campaign to help bring about a sustainable reduction in the workload of education workers. They want teachers to have more time for teaching so as to ensure they can give each child the education they deserve. We developed a unified approach to create a design to engage with teachers across a range of media resources. The design nods stylistically to propaganda posters, with its use of a striking and bold mono type face to convey the emergency of the message. The primary colours and illustration style help to conjure the retro image of education.
